Malam itu..... adalah malam pertama aku melihat ayah menangis bersama dengan mama. Yah, kita semua tahu, terkadang kenyataan memang menyakitkan. Begitu juga bagi kami sekeluarga. Karena terlampau sedih, aku sampai tidak merasa betapa dinginnya malam itu. Kami semua tahu bahwa ini adalah kehendak-Nya. Lantas, apa yang bisa kita perbuat. Yang hanya bisa kita lakukan hanyalah berdoa kepada-Nya dan memohon kemurahan-Nya. Kami sebenarnya telah memiliki firasat buruk tentang nenek. Dan ternyata, kejadian itu memang terjadi. Dia Yang Maha Kuasa telah memanggil nenek dari tengah - tengah kami. Kejadian ini begitu mendadak. Aku menyesal.......... Betapa bodohnya aku. Kenapa aku tidak pernah memberikan kasih sayang yang layak baginya. Tapi apa yang bisa kita perbuat. yang hanya bisa kita lakukan hanyalah termenung. Dari hal ini, kami sekeluarga mendapat suatu pelajaran yang sangat berharga. Utamakanlah waktu kita untuk keluarga. Jangan sampai kita cuek. Karena suatu saat ketika kita telah dewasa, kita semua akan melihat ke belakang dan menyadari bahwa segala sesuatu yang telah terlewatkan tidak dapat diputar ulang.
